ONE/TWO-DAY GARDEN TOURS IN SUSSEX AND KENT
Why not enhance your visit to the UK by visiting some beautiful gardens in Kent and Sussex? On the 2-day tour we shall visit gardens which are privately-owned and seldom open to the public and have an exclusive group tour with the owner or gardener as our guide. We will include a visit to Great Dixter, home of the late, great plantsman Christopher Lloyd. In most cases, including Dixter, the gardens will not be open to the general public at the time of our tour. This enables the visitor to fully experience the peace and tranquility of the gardens and also offers excellent photo’ opportunities.
Many visitors from overseas have told me that they prefer not to have to drive themselves whilst in England, choosing instead to visit gardens in the company of a small group of like-minded people rather than taking a large, impersonal bus tour. Groups are small – no more than 8 guests maximum - accompanied by myself and a driver. I am offering tour dates in both May and July 2012 to coincide with the RHS Chelsea and Hampton Court flower shows (NOT included in the tours) and will include 2 nights’ accommodation in Sussex with 2 full days of garden visits. I shall continue to offer one-day, tailor-made visits for small groups of 4 to 8 people throughout the rest of the season. Simply take a train out of London and we shall meet you at the station ready to whisk you off for a wonderful day away from the bustle of the city.
